Allstate Insurance Agent: Robby Price at 8439 Davis Lake Pkwy, Ste A3, Charlotte, North Carolina.

I have a landlord policy OR SHOULD I SAY HAD that was purchased via Mr. Robby Price. Allstate sold it to Universal North American several years ago, which I did not know until today. The payment is Escrowed, and we have never had a claim. I see my Escrow statements annually and never had any reason to question this policy until today when I got a notice from my mortgage company that they were placing a forced policy because the old one cancelled and we had not replaced it. Upon calling Universal North America, I was told that they were provided with an address for us that is over 20 years old. We purchased this policy in 2010 and have lived in the same house with the same phone numbers and the same email address for longer than this policy existed. YET for some reason Universal North American had a 23 year old Address that came from the Deed to the rental property when it was purchased 23 years ago. We have not moved, we have the same address, same numbers we are easy to find and YET this agent did NOTHING to find us when he received a long chain of letters asking for his assistance in reaching us about a minor request Universal had for information about the co-owner of the house. Universal says the agent was called as recently as January, but he did NOTHING to try and find us. WE have not moved since we bought this policy. Did I mention we have had the same numbers for the entire time we have owned this policy? WHY did this "Agent" give them a 23 year old address? Why didn't he attempt to look us up in tax records, phone records or a clue report? Why in the world did he not have the correct information? IT HAS NOT CHANGED! So tonight I'm sleepless worrying that the house will burn down because I don't have insurance and can't get it until tomorrow morning.

I wasted 2.5 hours on the phone with Universal North American today, but our mail comes after business hours so I had no real chance to resolve this and I promise that if anything happens to that house between now and tomorrow morning, Mr. Price will face the wrath of every law suit by every lawyer I can find. It is now 10:22 pm. So far so good... I'm leaving a digital footprint on purpose. YES I AM MAD AS HELL!

Update at 10:46 pm. I remembered Allstate Customer Service saw my old policy when I called them first, so I called back about the address. They had the Correct Address on file.

THIS DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT UNIVERSAL SENT LETTERS TO ROBBY PRICE AND PHONED HIM AND HE DID NOT BOTHER TO FIND US TO NOTIFY US OF A PROBLEM
