Vann Family Dental at 5716 Wyalong Drive C, Charlotte, North Carolina.

I should start by saying that I have a pretty extensive list of dental problems, and I have only seen them twice. Although the staff is friendly and they have a nice facility, I was not particularly pleased with the treatment I was given. I went in twice to get cleanings and have my fillings looked at as a number of them (from many years ago) have already fallen apart. Both times they were more concerned with taking x rays and crowning my teeth. Neither time was I able to get a proper cleaning, and neither time was anything done to address my aging fillings. As of today, I have already had 2 refilled by other dentists, one of which was one that Dr Vann wanted to crown. Although I understand that treatment decisions vary from practice to practice, it seems to me that Dr Vann is quick to crown teeth, something that I would like to avoid at 27. I was also disappointed that I could not even get a simple cleaning done asap as my teeth clearly need them. I was pleased that they did give me a 'debridment' cleaning the second time, however, looking in the mirror, it is apparently not a substitute for an actual cleaning.
